Okay, so here we are in Sienna. The Duomo(which is under repair) and about six other places, had Ray and I exhausted, so we took a nap in the shade on a ledge. That's all I have to say, except the gelato is good here. A more intelligent post to follow, hopefully.
Well, keep 'em coming! I'm enjoying the blog thoroughly!

What was your take on the Duomo di Sienna? Almost as if it had been designed by a committee of zebras perhaps. I assume the local Chianti is better than the off-spec stuff we tolerate in Canada. What is the state of health of the van door? Speaking of health, I trust everyone in your group is now free of colds.

Ya got ta know when ta hold 'em and know when ta fold 'em. Good for you for knowing the difference. Napping when you are tired sounds like an excellent idea. You must tell me, though, if the earth in Sienna is any where near the color of sienna or burnt sienna.
ReplyDeleteYes,Doug, zebra stripes, or pyjamas.Van door fixed. Everyone healthy. And Connie, after extensive research, I discovered the soil is dirt-coloured.
